Why should I restring my tennis racket?
Restringing is not just for when you have broken a string, of course this is mainly when people get their rackets restrung! However racket strings are a very important part of the tennis game! Strings lose their tension over time, this is how tight the strings are. Gradually they become slack and lose the 'pop' when striking the ball. Therfore it is important to replace the strings to optimise performance, you are only as good as the racket & strings you are using!
It is advised to replace the strings as many times in a year as you play tennis in a week. As an example if you play tennis twice a week, it is recommended to restring your racket every 6 months!
