Why should I restring my squash racket?
Restringing is not just for when you have broken a string, of course this is mainly when people get their rackets restrung! However racket strings are a very important part of the squash game! Strings lose their tension over time, this is how tight the strings are. Gradually they become slack and lose the 'pop' when striking the ball. Therfore it is important to replace the strings to optimise performance, you are only as good as the racket & strings you are using!
It is advised to replace the strings as many times in a year as you play squash in a week. As an example if you play squash twice a week, it is recommended to restring your racket every 6 months!
