SQUASH RESTRINGING
Why should I restring my squash racket?
Restringing is not just for when you have broken a string, of course this is the main time most people book in for a restring. It is a good idea to replace a string set once you notice you have any frayed/splintered strings that are close to breaking. All strings will lose their tension over time, this is how tight the strings are within the racket frame. Gradually they become slack and lose the 'pop' when striking the ball. This will have a negative impact on power and control during play, therefore it is important to replace the strings over time to optimise performance!
It is advised to replace the strings as many times in a year as you play squash in a week. As an example if you play squash twice a week, it is recommended to restring your racket every 6 months! We stock a range of squash strings to suit all different playing styles, ranging from beginners to performance players.
